Most people who reach this site want one of two things: to ask Helen about a home, or to find out what theirs is worth. This policy covers what happens to the details you share along the way.
Who this policy covers
This website is published by Helen Wong, a licensed California real estate broker with Premier Realty, with an office at 4030 Truxel Rd, Suite D, Sacramento, CA 95834. In this policy, “we” means Helen and the brokerage.
It explains what information this site collects, why we collect it, where it goes, and the choices you have. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.
What we collect
Information you give us. The forms on this site ask for your name, email address, and phone number, and depending on the form, a property address, whether you are buying or selling, and anything you choose to write in a message. You decide what to include.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs: the pages requested, the time, your browser type, and your IP address. These are used to keep the site running and secure.
What we do not ask for here. This site never requests financial account numbers, Social Security numbers, or loan application details. If you work with Helen on financing, that information is gathered separately, through secure channels, with its own disclosures.
Why we collect it
We use what you share for a short list of reasons:
- to respond to your question about buying, selling, or the value of a home;
- to arrange a conversation, a showing, or a follow-up you asked for;
- to keep records that licensed real estate brokers in California are required to keep;
- to keep the site working and protect it from abuse.
We do not use your information for anything unrelated to the conversation you started.
Where your message goes
When you submit a form, your message may be delivered to Helen by email or placed into a customer-relationship (CRM) system configured by the brokerage. Those providers handle the message on our behalf and under their own security terms; they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
If message delivery is not connected at the time you submit, the form will tell you so and give you Helen's phone number and email address instead. We will never show a confirmation for a message that was not sent.
Links to other sites
This site links to services we do not control, such as Zillow, Google Maps, and listing services. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies before sharing information with them.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as it takes to respond to you and for as long as California law requires licensed brokers to retain transaction records. If you would like it removed sooner, ask, and we will delete what we are not legally required to keep.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email helenwongre@gmail.com with your request and we will confirm what we did.
California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. The same email address is the way to exercise them, and we will not treat you differently for doing so.
Children
This site is for adults looking to buy or sell a home. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. Material changes will be noted plainly here rather than buried in the text.
